2009 elections

Next Wednesday November 18 elections will be held to elect the student member of various governing bodies of the university. The students, despite being the largest estate are less than 30% representation.
For more than 25 years Aee * (Association Student of Economics) has been claiming a quality public education. We seek the transformation of the university as a space for debate, criticism and reflection. We believe in a participatory university to commit itself to transform society, to combat the values \u200b\u200bthat perpetuate the exclusion, environmental degradation and inequality.

Program Proposals:

• Fund computerized tests:
The proposed Aee * hang on the university web service tests updated in recent years by subject.

• Reforms in the library: we
in economic, despite recent improvements, the worst campus library, the libraries of other faculties are packed with students at our school. From Aee * intend to expand the space available for the study, extend and improve the range of books available for direct consultation so that the library is a place for research and student motivation and not just a study hall.

• 2 ยช reproduction (this is already a classic): We have spent many years trying to get a 2nd reproduction due to insufficient service today. Despite how difficult it seems to get it, we will continue to strive for an extension of these services to avoid concentrations that occur.

• Recycling:
urge the faculty to install more bins for recycling paper, batteries and cans.

• Create opportunities for student use in college and courtyards, and retrieve the tables removed.

• Create a model of teaching that allows students to work both in the practices of career and personal reasons, to balance work with college and explicit support by the university.

• Automatic dispensers for feminine hygiene supplies and condoms.

• Improving the allocation and assignment of classrooms.

• Increase the budget of the faculty, under-resourced compared to the other.

• Rethinking the conditions of access to scholarships and increasing them.

• Improve working conditions for students who begin their practice, requiring minimal rigor and control to business and to recognize the employment relationship, with the pay in lieu of salary and no help.

• Review and control of the mandatory implementation of the Bologna process, which has proven not to be adapted to the English and to remedy possible negative effects it causes.
